About Me

Hello, I’m Russ. I’m a coach but I prefer to describe myself as a ‘self-help facilitator’ or human Sat Nav (of positive change), as this describes the coaching process I adopt to empower people like you - who may feel you’re not on the right path in life, or are struggling with health, identity or career blocks - to discover your ‘new’ direction and make positive change in your life. I want you to feel happier!

How it works - My coaching process

I use a range of coaching models that provide structure and a framework that deliver on specific, measurable and achievable outcomes through:

 

  • Inwardly-led client solutions

o   Empathetic listening techniques

  • NLP-based reasoning

o   Powerful questioning techniques

  • GROW, OSCAR, FUEL, ACHIEVE models

*I explain the coaching process, how I work and your commitment during the first free ‘discovery’ session (online or phone). Every session you go away with something we choose together to work on.

Sessions are an hour long and generally conducted online.

 

What I do NOT do

  • Direct or mentor (this is a different method)

  • Judge (non-judgemental)

  • Give opinion (what I think is irrelevant)

  • Sympathise (not counselling – empathetic listening)

  • Pressurise (you alone are accountable for any agreed actions – what you put in, is what you get out. I will encourage you to challenge your existing thinking)

  • Lie! (I will always be honest and truthful with you - if I think you need other tailored help or if you have gained what you need from my coaching it may be time to fly the nest!)

 

I will be here to support you all the way and act as your cheerleader and sounding-board.

Who I work with

I only work with people who are committed and open to change and to the coaching process. You will be responsible for your own self-development but I will provide accountability and ongoing reflection.

 Together we will work on setting achievable outcomes, removing any barriers and reaching your desired goals.

 It can be challenging as you discover your new path but the rewards are life-changing. The first steps are the hardest but little by little your small agreed actions build up to become game changers.

 I know what it feels like when you recognise you need help but you’re not sure what or from whom. I understand being hesitant to reach out. But you’ve already made that first important step which will shape your positive future. Investing in yourself is not only allowed, it is vital for growth.

Value of my coaching

Many people question the value of a life coach and think they can achieve the same outcomes by studying and reading common theories themselves. I was one of these – how wrong could I have been. Whilst I wouldn’t discourage this self-guiding work, by working with me, clients soon appreciate the value that a coach brings them.

My programs are designed to be short and cost-effective because I want to empower you to help yourself going forwards and not to rely on me. The skills you learn in our short time together will last you a lifetime. Of course, I will support you through your journey and will always be on hand to help with any new directions or goals you set your heart & mind to….

All coaching sessions take place online, and you can choose between 1, 4,, or 8 sessions in your package. Sessions usually happen weekly, but this can be customised.

Whichever package you choose, your coaching journey will be unique and you`ll receive tailored advice and resources depending on your goals.

  •  Free initial discovery call (approx. 30 mins)  - with no obligation to proceed. If after the call you feel you have gained enough information to take you own path that is absolutely fine OR we can work together on the next steps.
